Walking is the best cardio exercise of choice for weight loss


Walking is better than running for weight loss purposes. The body has different energy systems, aerobic and anaerobic. The aerobic energy system burns fat with oxygen for fuel. This is the system used while walking.

Running involves the anaerobic sytem. Anerobic burns more carbohydrates (in the body) for fuel than fat.
